The Pink Balloon
Inspired by a true story, this is a heartwarming journey of a new family, a balloon and a child who showed the world it is what’s on the inside that counts the most. This book is an inclusive children’s story about listening with your heart, and a child who shows the world who they truly are.

Reward for Allyship
Local artist and illustrator, Briana Corrs Scott created a beautiful enamel butterfly pin with the trans flag colours as a symbol and message for our book. Throughout The Pink Balloon, the butterfly is a symbol of resilience and strength, honouring trans and gender expansive people and allyship. You can contact BriAnna about how to get a butterfly pin to show your allyship of all transgender individuals.

I strongly believe in the power of building community, sharing resources and having the space to be your authentic self. That's why I've created a local group on the South Shore, Nova Scotia for parents and caregivers of transgender and gender expansive children and youth. We connect, share, and grow together in a space of lived experience and understanding to raise healthy, happy, and loved children.
