South Shore Parents and Caregivers of Trans and Gender Expansive Youth

I strongly believe in the power of building community, sharing resources and having the space to be your authentic self. That's why I've created a local group on the South Shore, Nova Scotia for parents and caregivers of transgender and gender expansive children and youth. We connect, share, and grow together in a space of lived experience and understanding to raise healthy, happy, and loved children.

The Pink Balloon

Based on real life experiences, The Pink Balloon is the story about a baby named Briar, a box of balloons and a surprise.

Reward for Allyship

For our Kickstarter campaign, local artist and illustrator, Briana Corrs Scott created a beautiful enamel butterfly pin with the trans flag colours. Throughout The Pink Balloon, the butterfly is a symbol of resilience and strength, honouring trans and gender expansive people and allyship.
