COVID-19 Service Announcement

 Where families come to HEAL their hearts, EXPAND their minds and connect a little bit deeper.




While things at my office had shifted in March as a result of the ongoing pandemic, I never fully closed my practice. In person sessions were put on hold and I quickly transitioned to a Telehealth platform offering sessions by phone and online video sessions. Many individuals and parents transitioned fairly easily and after the first session it began feeling pretty “normal” and the personal connection transferred over almost effortlessly. For some there are barriers like poor internet connection, not enjoying video options, or the extra challenge of being at home while trying to find the time and space for privacy for a session at home. I am happy I’ve been able to provide alternative solutions during this time but I know for some it was just one more challenge to endure during the COVID-19 pandemic. As news has been coming in about the gradual re-opening of the community and businesses, I have been keeping on top of the public health directives, following professional guidelines, consulting social work colleagues, keeping informed of news regarding a second-wave of COVID, and getting feedback from families with regards to their comfort levels with services.

During this time I have gained extensive additional training specific to providing Telehealth services to individuals, couples, and families and have expanded my child and play based therapy services to include online video sessions with children and youth.

Current Service Delivery Options:


* Telehealth services via phone or online video sessions will continue to be available to adults, and children/youth who through parent consultation it is deemed a suitable and beneficial option. You can book sessions directly above with the Book Online tab.

* Outdoor sessions have now been added as an option for individuals, families, and children after engaging in the first intake session via Telehealth services. You can book sessions directly above with the Book Online tab.
